Youth Works

The Youth Works Program provides youth with the supports and resources needed to attain their career goals, which can include support to build job skills, gain experience in the workforce and become financially empowered.

Many youth previously or currently involved with Children’s Services do not have the family networks or supports needed to get their foot in the door and launch their career. Through the Youth Works Program, youth receive support with their job search, interview preparations and obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment.

The goal of the Youth Works Program is to help youth build the skills and supports needed to succeed in a meaningful career.

The Youth Works Program is a national program developed and managed by Children's Aid Foundation of Canada and made possible by RBC Future Launch and the City of Calgary.

Who It's For:

This program only accepts youth who have been involved with Child and Family Services at some point of their lives.
