Aspen is excited to be opening a third group home for youth ages 12 - 17 who are unable to reside in their family home at this time due to trauma, addictions, poverty or family violence. Youth living in the home will be supported to enhance their community and kin relationships, with the goal that they will transition into a healthy and safe home environment.
Our new home will open it's doors to youth this December, and in preparation of this quickly approaching day we are asking for support to complete renovations and outfit the home.
Join us for a guided tour of our new group home on Wednesday, October 30th between 2:00pm and 4:00pm and see first hand how your support of this project will make a difference for vulnerable youth in our community. Tours will be hosted by Aspen team members who work directly with the youth living in our group homes.
We encourage you to invite your friends and colleagues who you think may be interested in learning more about supporting this project alongside you.
Please RSVP by clicking the button below. For more information, please contact Ashlee at 403.463.8936 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
*The home is located near Village Square Leisure Centre in NE Calgary. An address will be shared upon registration.
Aspen is in need of financial or in-kind support to complete renovations in time for youth to move in mid-December. You can help by donating product, supplies or materials, volunteering your time and expertise, or making a financial contribution to help ensure this home is safe and supportive and meets the physical and emotional needs of youth who will be living in the space.
If you are interested in supporting this project, please contact Ashlee Hamblin, Director of Development and Communications at 403-463-8936 or email@example.com.
