Youth

Research shows children raised in unsafe, unhealthy or severely challenging environments often have more difficulty building strong, sustainable lives as adults. To break the cycle of repeating unhealthy patterns experienced in childhood, it is essential to provide children and youth with the care, security and life skills they need to lead healthy, independent lives.

Aspen’s youth programs work with young people struggling with a variety of issues such as homelessness, addiction, eating disorders, finding a job, staying in school, overcoming mental, physical or social health concerns, reuniting with family, finding adoptive homes or learning to make the leap to adulthood.
